Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact professionally and effectively.
  • Ability to assist with food preparation and restock bar inventory.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, best practices, and sanitation requirements.
  • This position may require the following valid certifications; ServSafe Alcohol Certification, and Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the restaurant and/or sports entertainment industry.
  • Previous Bar back or bartender experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in friendly and welcoming manner; ensure a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
  • Provide exceptional, friendly, and courteous service to guests.
  • Assist in restocking and replenishing bar supplies including liquor, glassware, garnishes, and essentials.
  • Prepares and stocks bar areas with all products including beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, glassware, ice, etc.
  • Maintains stocks, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
  • Organize and rotate stock to ensure freshness and accessibility.
  • Ensures beer taps are working properly; Keg handling and tapping.
  • Assists bartenders with beverage preparation and service as needed.
  • Adheres to state, federal, and Levy Responsible Alcohol Service regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to all guests.
  • Completes opening and closing duties including cleaning tasks in assigned area and preparation tasks; trash removal and waste management.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse staff for product ordering, stocking, and inventory management.
  • Work closely with frontline and back-of-house teams to execute event-specific menu items, ensuring adherence to event-specific menu items, ensuring adherence to event specifications, recipes, and Levy Core Signature standards.
  • Adhere to safety standards and food safety compliance, including proper food handling, cross-contamination prevention, and maintaining safe food temperatures.
  • Ensure all equipment and stations are properly cleaned and maintained, following safety procedures and sanitation guidelines. Supervise equipment usage and cleanliness.
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels; complete production logs, monitor portion control and waste/spoilage/gratis logs.
  • Conducts accurate inventory counts daily and monthly.
  • Collaborate with management, supervisors, and team members to ensure timely service and efficient operations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
