About The Position
The Alida hotel, a 173-room establishment on Savannah's riverfront, seeks a Bar Back to support the bar operations. This role is crucial for ensuring a memorable guest experience by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of the bar. The Bar Back works closely with bartenders to anticipate needs and ensure all necessary items are readily available.
Requirements
- Prior experience highly preferred.
- A proactive and detailed demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain critical bar supplies including ice, juice, syrups/mixers, spirits, and glassware.
- Stock bar items proactively to prevent shortages during shifts.
- Understand and troubleshoot bar equipment issues, such as CO2 levels, dishwasher operation, and beer key functionality.
- Ensure cleanliness of all bar areas, including the guest-facing bar top, the bar back storage, waste bins, and floors.
- Possess thorough knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings, aligning with brand vision and quality standards.
