About The Position
The Adolphus is seeking a Bar Back, the silent hero who ensures a memorable guest experience by maintaining the bar's readiness. This role involves efficiently stocking, cleaning, and organizing the bar, working seamlessly with bartenders, and anticipating needs to ensure all elements, from ice to spirits to glassware, are always at the ready. A thorough understanding of bar equipment and menu offerings is essential.
Requirements
- Proactive and detailed demeanor.
- Prior experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain stock of ice, juice, syrups/mixers, spirits, and glassware.
- Anticipate and stock items before they run out during a shift.
- Understand and troubleshoot bar equipment issues, such as CO2 levels, dishwasher function, and beer key changes.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar top, bar back area, waste bins, and floors.
- Possess thorough knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings, aligning with brand vision and quality standards.
