About The Position

The Bar Assistant is responsible for creating the finest experiences for guests by providing exceptional service and building connections with warmth, energy, teamwork, and professionalism. This role requires a high level of professional and personalized guest service that aligns with the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).

Requirements

• Stands during 6-8 hour shift.
• May be required to assist service staff during peak periods.
• Able to manage unsatisfactory guest experience.
• Lifts 50 pound trays during shift and may carry upstairs.
• Able to hear guest order and requests amidst loud, background noise.
• Able to clearly verbalize response to guests.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional image.
• Maintains professional working relationships.
• Stocks liquor, beer, wine, soda and ice.
• Cleans and organizes bar areas.
• Cleans and stocks glassware.
• Adheres to alcohol awareness standards.
• Maintains security of bar products.
• Strong product knowledge.
• Assists guest as needed.
• Notifies manager of unhappy guests.
• Performs assigned sidework duties.
• Assists mangers/chefs as directed.
