About The Position

In this position, you will be responsible for creating “Real Life Magic” for our guests by providing the highest level of service to internal and external guests on all catered events. We require you have at least one year work experience at a reputable establishment in a customer facing role. Your training will be built on the skillset you already have. The ideal applicant for this highly sought-after job is naturally going above and beyond under heavy workload, enjoys adapting to constantly changing customer requests and takes pride in accomplishing challenging tasks.

Requirements

  • At least one year work experience at a reputable establishment in a customer facing role
  • Ability to walk up to 8 hours at a time and to bend
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Must be able to speak the English language fluently
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
  • Must be able to handle high-pressure situations
  • Must possess strong organizational skills
  • Must possess a drivers license

Responsibilities

  • Studies and understands Banquet Event Orders (BEO), identifies tasks and executes tasks assigned to them
  • Works as part of a team or on their own, completes venue sets to specifications and as instructed
  • Executes room refreshes and venue breakdown
  • Takes part in training new associates and redirecting fellow associates when necessary, suggests improvements and ideas to management and reports any violations of Nemacolin standards
  • Takes utmost care of equipment, venues and other Nemacolin assets, reports damages or malfunctions immediately
  • Keeps the work area immaculate – both Front and Heart of House
  • Keeps storage areas organized, presentable and safe
  • Other job duties as assigned by the Lead Setup Associates or Banquet Management
