About The Position

This position involves entering and retrieving information from computer databases, preparing documents using various software, handling mail, and maintaining filing systems. The role also requires entering and locating work-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems. Additionally, the assistant must adhere to company policies, maintain a professional appearance, ensure guest satisfaction, communicate effectively, and collaborate with team members. The job also includes performing physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance, and undertaking other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Ability to enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball.
  • Ability to transmit information or documents using a computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment other than computers.
  • Proficiency in preparing letters, memos, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
  • Skills in handling incoming and outgoing mail, including date stamping and distributing incoming mail.
  • Ability to create and maintain computer- and paper-based filing and organization systems.
  • Ability to compile, copy, sort, and file records.
  • Ability to enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintenance of clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball to update records, files, reservations, and answer inquiries from guests.
  • Transmit information or documents using a computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
  • Operate standard office equipment other than computers.
  • Prepare letters, memos, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including date stamping and distributing incoming mail.
  • Create and maintain computer- and paper-based filing and organization systems for records, reports, documents, etc.
  • Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
