About The Position
As Banquets Manager, you’re the maestro of memorable moments—masterminding every detail so that each event goes off without a hitch! You’ll keep the Banquet Department running smoother than a perfectly choreographed dance, balancing cost control with dazzling guest service. From setting the stage for spectacular celebrations, orchestrating flawless serving, to leading the grand finale cleanup, you’re in charge of it all. And when it comes to your team, you’re the ultimate coach—hiring, training, cheering them on, offering guidance when needed, and celebrating their growth. If you love being at the heart of the action and inspiring others to shine, this is your spotlight! This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM), overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of progressive hotel or related experience.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Proficient in Windows operating systems.
- Strong communication skills; able to convey information clearly and listen effectively to coworkers and guests.
- Skilled at problem-solving, including anticipating, identifying, and resolving workplace issues under pressure.
- Capable of assimilating and analyzing complex information from multiple sources and making quick, accurate decisions.
- Comfortable working with financial data and performing basic arithmetic functions.
- Keep your attendance shining by reliably showing up ready to impress, adapting to our ever-changing event schedule and upholding Aimbridge Hospitality’s gold standards.
- Rock your uniform and name tag with pride, ensuring your appearance always matches the high standards of our brand and wows guests at every turn.
- Follow all Aimbridge Hospitality guidelines and regulations to keep every event smooth, safe, and running like clockwork—for both guests and staff.
- Always be prepared by keeping your Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid certifications up to date.
