This role involves meeting with group coordinators and hosts prior to events to ensure all arrangements are satisfactory. The Banquets Conferences Concierge will analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information, determine setup requirements, establish timelines, and address specific guest needs, including buffets and action stations. The position requires responding to and fulfilling special banquet event arrangements and following up to ensure compliance. Additionally, the role adheres to all company and safety/security policies, reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and ensuring guest satisfaction through welcoming interactions are key. The role also involves clear communication, professional phone etiquette, developing positive working relationships, and ensuring quality standards are met. This position requires the ability to read various formats, visually inspect equipment, and perform tasks that involve standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. It also includes lifting objects up to 25 pounds, navigating confined or elevated spaces, and moving over various surfaces and stairs. The role may also involve reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, as well as performing other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
