About The Position
The Server Assistant is responsible for supporting restaurant, banquet, and nightlife operations by ensuring exceptional guest experiences through cleanliness, organization, food running, table maintenance, event support, and operational readiness. This position serves as a key support role across multiple departments and is expected to assist with Café operations, private events, VIP experiences, and nightclub functions. Successful candidates demonstrate professionalism, urgency, adaptability, and a strong commitment to teamwork. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and takes pride in providing outstanding guest service while supporting the overall success of the operation.
Requirements
- Previous hospitality, restaurant, banquet, nightlife, hotel, or guest service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and teamwork.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Alcohol Awareness (TAM) Card.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Food Handler Safety Card.
- Must be eligible to work in environments where alcohol is served.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Support service staff in delivering a memorable guest experience.
- Respond promptly to guest needs and requests.
- Maintain professional interactions with guests, team members, and management.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables in accordance with company standards.
- Assist servers by maintaining stocked and organized service stations.
- Deliver food and beverages to guests as needed.
- Remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout dining and service areas.
- Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Transport and arrange tables, chairs, staging, and event equipment.
- Support banquet service teams during private events and special functions.
- Ensure event spaces remain clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout service.
- Support VIP table service and nightclub operations.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and presentation of guest areas.
- Monitor for spills, broken glass, and other safety concerns requiring immediate attention.
- Support operational needs during high-volume nightlife events.
- Assist management and service staff in maintaining a safe and organized environment.
- Complete opening, operating, and closing duties as assigned.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Communicate operational concerns and guest issues to management promptly.
- Support additional departments as business needs require.
