About The Position
Come join Beaver Run Resort in our food and beverage department in our Banquets Setup position! The primary job responsibility of this position is to assist with the day to day set up of meeting and banquets rooms in the conference center. The Banquets Setup position will also be in a guest-facing role, ensuring that the specifics of banquet orders are met, with an emphasis on venue setup. Full-time and part time, Full time is eligible for benefits position. Housing may be available. Position starts at $18.00-$19.00 per hour + Gratuity.
Requirements
- Able to lift and carry 40+lbs.
- Flexible availability - including nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Will stand and walk for long periods of time (8-9 hours)
Responsibilities
- Work with entire Banquets team to get venue ready for events.
- Ensure proper venue setup including tables and chairs, staging, and other elements required for the event.
- Assist with teardown and cleaning of space after event, with the space being returned to inspection-ready state.
- Inspect banquet equipment and replace/clean/repair as needed.
- Maintain all banquet materials and storage areas.
- Address guest concerns and questions.
- Complete required side work- may vary by event.
