About The Position

Water’s Edge Resort and Spa is accepting applications for our Banquet Supervisor position. We are seeking team members who are natural leaders with a passion to create memorable experiences for our guests. The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of banquet events under the direction of the Banquet Manager, including setup, food service, and cleanup. They ensure that events run smoothly and meet or exceed guests’ expectations.

Requirements

Organized and able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays.
Able to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
Has the stamina to handle prolonged periods of standing.
Able to perform moderately strenuous activities including lifting, pushing or pulling up to 30 lbs.

Has reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

2 years of prior Banquet Supervisor or Captain experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet client and be available to the guest throughout the event to ensure all needs are met.
Oversee serving and set up staff.
Ensure the event space is clean and prepared on time.
Be responsible for the overall sanitation and cleanliness of the work areas, banquet rooms, and storage areas.
Communicate with culinary and housekeeping staff to ensure quality service is provided.
Maintain service standards and procedures.
Assist with scheduling and training.
Assist with inventory and equipment maintenance and care.
Be familiar with all current and upcoming event details per BEOs.
