About The Position

This position is responsible for completing work assignments as directed by a supervisor or shift leader, ensuring that water, amenities, AV, and breaks are set up at least 15 minutes before meetings. The role involves addressing guest requests for additional equipment and supplies, informing guests of any extra charges, and providing world-class guest service according to OHM and brand standards. The Banquet Setup team member will set up and clean meeting and function rooms per OHM and brand specifications, refresh meeting rooms during breaks, and assist with meal service and breakdown as needed. Additional duties include assisting in getting banquet guest checks signed and submitted to the front office, following energy conservation guidelines and safety procedures, handling all equipment and supplies properly, reporting to work on time and in uniform, adhering to company policies, and embracing company cultures such as O’Reach, Green Team, and Guest Service. Other duties as required will also be part of the role.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Pleasant, polite, and maintains a neat appearance.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to resolve problems efficiently and deliver results.
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing duties.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving walking or standing.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of hospitality or banquet experience preferred.
