About The Position

This position is responsible for completing work assignments as directed by a supervisor or shift leader, ensuring that water, amenities, AV, and breaks are set up at least 15 minutes before meetings. The role involves addressing guest requests for additional equipment and supplies, informing guests of any extra charges, and providing world-class guest service according to OHM and brand standards. The Banquet Setup team member will set up and clean meeting and function rooms per OHM and brand specifications, refresh meeting rooms during breaks, and assist with meal service and breakdown as needed. Additionally, the role assists in getting banquet guest checks signed and submitted to the front office, follows energy conservation guidelines and safety procedures, and handles all equipment and supplies properly. Reporting to work on time, in uniform, as scheduled, and adhering to company policies and procedures are essential. The position also requires embracing company cultures such as O’Reach, Green Team, and Guest Service, and performing other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Pleasant, polite, and maintains a neat appearance.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to resolve problems efficiently and deliver results.
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing duties.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving walking or standing.
  • Includes stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motions.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of hospitality or banquet experience preferred.
