Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in banquet setup or event coordination preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic audiovisual equipment and setup techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with event planners and banquet managers to review and implement catering function agreement setup requirements for each event.
  • Assists in the development, coordination and implementation of banquet practices and procedures.
  • Assists in establishing solutions for challenges in banquet service.
  • Ensures a clean and attractive presentation of all banquet spaces.
  • Supervise a team of banquet setup staff, including training.
  • Oversee the setup of tables, chairs, linens, decorations, audiovisual equipment, and other event materials according to event specifications.
  • Ensure that all equipment and materials are properly maintained and stored when not in use.
  • Conduct pre-event inspections to verify that the setup meets client expectations and venue standards.
  • Provide on-site supervision during events to address any setup issues or last-minute changes.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to local, state, and federal health and safety laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of additional events as needed.
