Requirements

• Previous experience as banquet staff or similar role in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stress and stay focused under pressure
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to 100lbs with or without equipment assistance
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Food handling certification may be required depending on the state

Responsibilities

• Setting up banquet tables and chairs for events
• Arranging table settings and linens
• Displaying centerpieces and decorations
• Assisting with the placement of audiovisual equipment
• Cleaning and maintaining event spaces
• Restocking supplies as needed
• Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure successful events
• Providing exceptional customer service to guests
• Following health and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Helping with event breakdown and clean-up.
