Requirements

  • Hospitality oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to bend, squat, stretch, stand for 2-3 hours at a time, and lift weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Should work well under pressure, even with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Fully Bilingual a Must (Spanish/English).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Reads banquet event order and set up rooms according to the BEO'S.
  • Thoroughly familiar with various types of workable setups, including but not limited to: School-Room Style, Theater Style, Conference Style, U-Shape, Hollow Square, Hollow Rectangle,Banquet Style,T-Shape, and E-Shape.
  • Correctly and efficiently set-up and break-down all department functions.
  • Coordinate with the appropriate departments and individuals to set up banquet rooms and halls efficiently.
  • Assist in moving and positioning large items, including staging, tables, and chairs, and provide guidance on proper placement.
  • Check room temperature and lighting, making adjustments as needed, and confirm that all electrical connections are operational.
  • Receive and secure materials and supplies from vendors, ensuring they are stored safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of banquet areas throughout and following each event.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the supervisor.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals,
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the supervisor.
