About The Position

The Banquet Server at Beach House Fort Lauderdale, a Hilton Resort, provides food and beverage service and helps create memorable guest experiences. The role involves friendly, attentive guest interactions; knowledge of menu items and specials; accurate and prompt order handling; maintaining the service station; clearing tableware; preparing banquet spaces; and following health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat, friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make guests’ experiences special.
• Learn menu items and specials to answer guest questions confidently.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and promptly deliver completed orders.
• Keep the service station stocked, clean, and organized.
• Clear dishware, glassware, and silverware after meal service and transport them to the dishwashing area.
• Assist with event preparation, including cleaning, arranging and setting banquet tables, and restocking supplies.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
