The On Call Banquet Server is responsible for preparing coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages as specified in the Banquet Event Order. This includes setting up tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert tables/carts, and cordial carts. The role requires communicating additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen, ensuring courses are cleared, and tables are properly crumbed. Banquet Servers must respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements, replenish buffet items to maintain consistency and freshness, and monitor tableware for presentability. Maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations and service areas is crucial, as is bussing tables by separating tableware, plateware, glassware, and flatware. The position also involves adhering to all company and safety/security policies, reporting incidents, completing safety training, maintaining a professional appearance, ensuring confidentiality, protecting company assets, and providing excellent guest service by welcoming guests, anticipating needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking guests. Clear and professional communication, teamwork, and adherence to quality standards are expected. Physical demands include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and lifting objects up to 25 pounds.
