About The Position

At the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler our Banquet team plays a vital role in creating thoughtful, memorable guest experiences. As a Full Time Banquet Server, you’ll join a collaborative team that prepares and executes events with consistency, attention to detail and care. The role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, has a high level of detail and has dedication to serving our guests. You’ll be part of a team that balances high service volume with a strong commitment to execute quality and consistency.

Requirements

• Previous experience serving
• Previous experience in catering work or high-volume functions is preferred
• Comfortable lifting and carrying 20+ pounds
• Strong command of the English language
• Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills, as well as a passion for customer service.
• Must be able to obtain a Serving It Right certificate.
• Valid work authorization for Canada

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests' needs are fully attended to in a function setting.
• Gather and transport all supplies required for function setup.
• Set tables and back-of-house prep space according to service standards.
• Prepare mise-en-place for events.
• Serve food and beverage components as per Four Seasons' standards.
