About The Position
Our banquet server positions offer a flexible schedule with many opportunities to make excellent tips. Work with a diverse, top-notch group of people that will provide the training you need to succeed.
Requirements
- Excellent people skills required.
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Long periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push a cart that weighs up to 150 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous server experience a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Serving food and beverages in a prompt and professional manner.
- Assisting in the set up and tear down of banquet-related equipment such as tables and table settings.
- Maintaining a neat and clean atmosphere.
- Reading Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensuring all contract requirements are met prior to the start of the event.
- Being attentive and removing plates once guest is finished, refilling water glasses as needed, and addressing any other guest requests.
- Adhering to safety, sanitation, and alcohol control policies.
- Performing other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
