Banquet Server - Part Time
About The Position
The Banquet Server will be responsible for setting up and preparing banquet rooms for events. This role involves serving and bussing tables, as well as clearing and dismantling banquet rooms at the conclusion of each function. The position is part-time, with availability needed for evening shifts and some weekends. The server will handle tasks such as draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, polishing silverware and glasses, and arranging table centerpieces. Service includes picking up food from the back hall, carrying trays, serving food, and clearing tables. Bartending duties may also be required, including passing drinks and managing liquor, beer, and wine bars. Breakdown duties involve bussing tables, storing dirty linen and centerpieces, and vacuuming. Additionally, the role includes cleaning the back hall and organizing storerooms.
Requirements
- Must be able to carry large trays of food.
- Basic Food Safety Certification and Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission Certification required within 30 days of starting and must be re-certified as needed.

- Food & Beverage experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

- Service to include picking up food from back hall, carrying trays to function location, serve food and clear the food from the tables.
- Bartend events including butler passing drinks, and liquor, beer and wine bars.
- Break down to include bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, vacuuming.
- Cleaning of back hall and organizing of storerooms.
