About The Position

You know how to read a room — and a banquet room is no exception. As a Banquet Server at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Seattle, you'll bring the same warmth and attentiveness to a seated dinner for 200 as you would to a table of two. You'll work as part of a tight-knit team to pull off events that guests are still talking about on the ride home. We’re thrilled to introduce Marin, our newly renovated and re-concepted restaurant that’s redefining the dining experience in Seattle. With a fresh name and a brand-new vision, Marin captures the essence of Seattle s unique environment where land meets sea. Our menu celebrates the flavors of the Pacific Northwest, with techniques and influences drawn from global seaside traditions, creating an experience that is both well-traveled and authentically local. We’re looking for passionate, creative individuals to help bring Marin to life. Requirements

Prior experience in hotel banquets.
A valid Food Handler Certificate (where required).
A genuine love of hospitality and a team-first mindset

Responsibilities

Deliver genuine, attentive service that makes every guest feel like the most important person in the room.
Set the stage — literally — by preparing event spaces with linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments.
Serve food and beverages during events with confidence and care.
Field questions about the menu or buffet with ease, putting your food and wine knowledge to good use.
Accommodate reasonable special requests without missing a beat.
Take direction from Management and execute flawlessly as part of the team.
Pitch in wherever needed — this is a team sport.
