Requirements
- Proven experience as a Banquet Server or in a similar role within a hospitality environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift moderate weight and stand for long periods.
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms as per event specifications, including table setup, decorations, and audiovisual equipment.
- Anticipate guests' needs and promptly address any requests or concerns they may have during the event.
- Serve food and beverages in a professional manner, adhering to service standards and timing protocols.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and banquet staff to ensure seamless coordination during events.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
- Assist in the breakdown and cleanup of banquet rooms post-event, including clearing dishes and cleaning up debris.
