Banquet Server - On Call
About The Position
This is an on-call Banquet Server position responsible for serving food and beverages for various banquets. The role requires fostering good working relationships with guests and employees, maintaining uniforms, and potentially taking guest orders and serving food and beverages in a timely manner. The server will regularly check on guests to ensure satisfaction, offer refills, and maintain a clean work environment by performing general cleaning duties, including clearing and sanitizing tables. Additional duties include performing sidework such as stocking condiments, rolling silverware, and folding napkins, as well as answering guest questions about menu options or resort information.
Requirements
- Demonstrated hands-on hospitality, hosting, or serving experience, preferably within a banquet or fine dining environment.
- Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
- Demonstrated experience problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
- One (1) or more years of recent and related experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to add and subtract.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Responsibilities

- Wearing and maintaining all uniforms properly, including nametags. Must wear a gaming license if in possession of one.
- Taking guest orders accurately and serving food and beverages in a timely manner.
- Regularly checking up on guests to ensure they are satisfied, offering refills if needed.
- Maintaining a clean work environment. Performing general cleaning duties, including clearing and sanitizing tables.
- Performing sidework, including stocking condiments, rolling silverware, and folding napkins.
- Answering questions that guests may have regarding menu options or general information about the resort.
