About The Position

Northland Country Club is seeking Banquet Servers to join our team! Located in beautiful Duluth, MN, Northland Country Club is a premier private club offering an exceptional experience for members and guests. The Club features an 18-hole, par 71 golf course, tennis courts, a heated outdoor pool, year-round casual and fine dining, and full-service banquet operations. During the summer months, members and guests also enjoy outdoor food and beverage service in a scenic setting. We are seeking energetic, service-driven Banquet Servers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of special events. From weddings to private parties, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our members and guests. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, detail-focused, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every shift.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous waitress, waiter or banquet server experience required
Excellent oral communication and listening skills
Ability to follow directions
Excellent customer service skills
A banquet server MUST provide their own uniform which consists of a white tuxedo shirt, black bow tie, black pants, black socks and black shoes (unless otherwise instructed by Dining Room Manager)

Responsibilities

Performs food and drink serving duties at dinners and special events while interacting with guests in a positive, friendly, and efficient manner
Set up for events by arranging tablecloths and place settings, positioning table placement and setting up a buffet.
Carrying plates of food on trays and serving guests.
Keep glasses filled; remove each round of plates and replenish utensils.
Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service.
Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
