About The Position

We are seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Banquet Servers to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the seamless execution of weddings, corporate events, and private functions. Your attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will ensure each guest experience is memorable and flawlessly delivered. Requirements

  • Previous experience in banquet service, catering, or hospitality preferred
  • Full weekend availability from May through the end of September
  • Comfortable with event-based scheduling
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a professional demeanor
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in high-volume settings
  • Punctual, dependable, and flexible with working hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs and performing tasks that require mobility
  • Smart Serve Certification
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to outstanding guest service

Responsibilities

  • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure proper room layout, table configurations, and service requirements
  • Set up event spaces with tables, chairs, linens, flatware, glassware, and décor in accordance with the BEO
  • Inspect event spaces for cleanliness, temperature, appropriate lighting, and overall readiness prior to guest arrival
  • Greet guests warmly and deliver attentive, professional service throughout the event
  • Serve food and beverages with efficiency and precision, maintaining proper timing and service flow
  • Monitor guest needs proactively and respond promptly to inquiries or concerns
  • Clear dishes and glassware between courses and maintain tidy service areas
  • Support clean-up and breakdown of event spaces post-function, including the removal and proper storage of all equipment
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, as well as venue-specific protocols
  • Report any damages, maintenance issues, or inventory needs to Banquet Manager
  • Complete side duties such as polishing cutlery, folding napkins, and restocking supplies etc.
  • Work collaboratively with banquet managers, fellow servers, and kitchen staff to uphold service standards
  • Assist with other tasks as needed to ensure smooth event operations
