About The Position
Banquet Servers support the Café Manager, Banquet Coordinator, and Nutritional Services Department in coordinating and executing banquets, meetings, and events. The role assists with event planning, room preparation, food service support, and cleanup to help ensure a positive experience for guests and hosts.
Requirements
- Obtain Food Handlers Certification from an ANSI-accredited program within one month of hire and maintain current certification throughout employment with GRHD.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year of experience in a similar role preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet and conference rooms according to event requirements, including tables, linens, chairs, and other equipment.
- Roll silverware and set tables for events and meetings.
- Monitor banquet and meeting spaces during events to ensure needs are met.
- Clean and reset conference rooms following events, including teardown and equipment removal.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet and service areas.
- Perform other assigned duties.
