About The Position

This is an on-call Banquet Server position. The role involves setting banquet tables according to function specifications, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the meal service. The server will also be responsible for removing used items from tables, assisting fellow team members, and attending training and meetings.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Meeting Rooms Set up, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware

Nice To Haves

  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred
  • 6 months to 1 year experience in event service preferred

Responsibilities

  • Set banquet tables to meet function specifications
  • Deliver and serve food and beverages, including meals, condiments, and accompaniments
  • Ensure menu knowledge
  • Remove china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and deliver to the stewarding area
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
  • Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
  • Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
  • Assist others with side work including cleaning, stocking, folding, and silverware
  • Attend training provided by the hotel
  • Attend mandatory meetings
