Deerfield Golf Club, located in Newark, DE, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Banquet Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Ideal candidates have a genuine passion for hospitality. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing incredible guest service and member experiences through assisting in the daily execution of all banquet and dining functions at the property. Previous Food & Beverage experience is required. Our team has made a conscious effort to ensure strong protocols are in place to keep you and our patrons safe, so you can focus on the customer experience, camaraderie, and dining room management.

Requirements

Must have 1-2 years of related experience in F&B
Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws
Must have food and beverage/ a la carte and banquet experience
Must be highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented
Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Must have strong service orientation

Responsibilities

Perform the correct policies and procedures
Assist with banquet set-up and breakdown of tables, decoration, equipment, serving areas and related activities in an accurate and timely manner
Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events/a la carte dining
Ensure satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes, substitutions or special requests
Responsible for serving clients during events (refilling drinks, delivering food, bussing tables, etc.)
Perform other duties assigned by manager or supervisor
