About The Position

We are Sonesta International Hotels, the 8th largest hotel company in the U.S. and growing. We are in the business of people, bringing service with passion and loyalty with purpose. This role is responsible for serving meals to patrons for banquet and catering functions.

Requirements

Must be eligible for gratuities.
Must complete the full application in addition to submitting resume.

Responsibilities

Adhere to Stay Safe with Sonesta safety guidelines.
Prepare function room for banquet function; set tables and place settings.
Serve drink of choice to guests.
Garnish and decorate dishes prior to serving.
Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
Suggest desserts, beverages and after dinner drinks.
Ladle soup, toss salads, portion pies and desserts, brew coffee and perform other services as needed.
Clear and reset tables at conclusion of each course.
Adhere to Sonesta Service Standards.
Adhere to all Sonesta Safety and Sanitation Standards.
Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
Perform other duties or projects as requested by management.
