Requirements

Minimum of High School education
Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role
Ability to communicate effectively verbally
Team player
Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
Excellent time management skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts

Nice To Haves

Food safety certification preferred

Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms with tables, chairs, linens, silverware, and décor
Prepare buffet stations, beverage stations, and service areas
Ensure all serving equipment is clean and functioning
Review event orders and confirm details with supervisors
Greet guests and provide attentive, friendly service
Serve plated meals, refill beverages, and clear dishes promptly
Assist with buffet service, carving stations, or passed appetizers
Monitor guest needs, including dietary restrictions and special requests
Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas
Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
Clear tables, remove linens, and break down event setups
Clean and reset the room for the next event
Return equipment to proper storage areas
Report damaged or missing items to management
