About The Position

The Banquet Houseman/Server plays a vital role on the Banquets Team by ensuring meetings and events are correctly set up to provide guests with a memorable experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a hospitality environment and is highly focused on providing superior service to members and guests.

Requirements

• Great customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Tear down and set up meeting and event rooms daily, including stripping furniture and resetting rooms according to the specifications in the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
• Move and store equipment and banquet supplies, such as tables, chairs, risers, dance floors, and linen.
• Clean meeting and event rooms by straightening chairs, clearing used dishes and glassware, changing soiled table linen, and emptying trash.
• Work as a team member with Banquet Servers, Banquet Bartenders, and Banquet Captains to support a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets high standards of customer service.
