Banquet Server - On Call
About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Server for on-call availability, primarily for evening shifts and some weekends. This role involves setting up banquet rooms for events, serving guests, clearing tables, and breaking down rooms after functions. The position is located at the Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center in Westlake, Texas, a high-end private facility managed by Benchmark Hospitality. The center features extensive meeting space, multiple dining options, and amenities for associates. Requirements
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to carry large trays of food.
- Basic Food Safety Certification required within 30 days of starting.
- Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission Certification required within 30 days of starting.
- Must be able to be re-certified as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Food & Beverage experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare banquet rooms for events, including draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, polishing silverware and glasses, and arranging table centerpieces.
- Serve food by picking up food from the back hall and carrying trays to the function location.
- Clear food from tables.
- Bartend events, including butler passing drinks and managing liquor, beer, and wine bars.
- Break down event spaces by bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, and vacuuming.
- Clean the back hall and organize storerooms.
