In this role, you will be responsible for greeting banquet guests, taking orders accurately, and serving food. You will assist the banquets team in all aspects of banquets functions from start to finish. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll serve guests according to resort standard in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a server and set-up houseperson is preferred
  • 1 year of experience in food service or the hospitality industry in a convention center or large hotel (over 500 room property) is preferred
  • A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the setup and serving of food and beverages to guests at all banquet functions according to Resort standards
  • Maintain the banquet storeroom in a neat and orderly manner, stocked with all appropriate supplies necessary for food service functions
  • Perform preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently
  • Know how to read the banquet event orders (BEO’s) and be familiar with the menu of the assigned function
  • Respond to guest problems, complaints, and accidents; communicate to management if necessary
