About The Position

This role is responsible for creating unmatched experiences by engaging guests, navigating menu offerings, capitalizing on upselling opportunities and delivering an unrivaled service experience. The Banquet Server-Set Crew is vital to creating a successful dining experience for each guest. The position involves serving food and beverage items to guests, communicating special requests to the culinary team, assembling food items, ensuring attractive and consistent presentation of food and beverages, serving food and beverage items at the correct temperature, maintaining knowledge of food and beverage offerings, setting and tearing down rooms, and keeping the work area clean and organized.

Requirements

Previous experience as server in a similar environment
Ability to perform essential functions on the job
Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures
Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s)
Must be able to work week days and weekends
On-call work means varied schedules weekly
Must be able to lift 25-50lbs

Responsibilities

Serves food and beverage items to guests in accordance with established standards
Communicates any special requests to the culinary team
Assembles food items, such as appetizers, salads and soups as needed
Ensures attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages
Ensures that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature
Maintains current knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu changes
Sets and tears down rooms
Keeps work area, including guest dining area, clean and organized
