Requirements

RBS certification (California ABC)
San Bernardino County food handler card
Minimum age of 21 for bartenders, 18 for servers
Prior banquet, catering or bar experience, often 1+ years for bartending
Able to lift or carry 25–50 lbs
Able to stand for 8+ hours
Able to set up or break down tables and chairs
Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays, since events drive the schedule
Knowledge of drink recipes, pouring standards and carding procedures (for bartenders)

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a banquet server and bartender is preferred

Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms and bar areas according to event specifications
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service throughout the event
Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring guest satisfaction
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after events
Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations and policies
Collaborate with event staff and management to ensure seamless event execution
