About The Position

The Banquet Manager is responsible for coordinating and supervising all banquet events to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing staff, liaising with clients, and ensuring events run smoothly from setup to breakdown.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hospitality, event management, or food & beverage service
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of catering operations and banquet service standards
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 2–5 years of experience in banquet/event operations or similar role

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee all banquet functions and events
• Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements, menus, and schedules
• Supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and setup crews
• Ensure proper room setup, décor, and equipment based on event specifications
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service
• Monitor service standards and ensure guest satisfaction throughout events
• Handle client concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
• Manage inventory of banquet supplies, linens, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Prepare event reports, staffing schedules, and budgets
