About The Position
A strong hand and the ability to coordinate multiple groups of people are required for a successful Banquet Manager. This role involves interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling banquet staff, supervising and inspecting banquet setups, communicating calmly and positively with various teams during events, and overseeing the clean-up and breakdown of event areas.
Requirements
- At least a high school diploma.
- At least two years of experience in hospitality management.
- At least one year working in F & B.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate associates in a positive and professional manner.
Nice To Haves
- Any additional certificate in a relevant field.
Responsibilities
- Interview, hire, train, and schedule banquet staff.
- Supervise and inspect the set-up of banquets.
- Communicate in a calm, positive manner with the various banquet, kitchen, guest service teams, etc. during the duration of the event.
- Supervise the clean-up and take down of the event area after its completion.
