About The Position
The Banquet Houseperson is responsible for setting up and breaking down banquet rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and assisting with guest needs during events. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to providing excellent service.
Requirements
- Previous banquet or hospitality experience preferred.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down banquet rooms according to event specifications.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of banquet areas, including tables, chairs, and equipment.
- Polish and maintain silverware, glassware, and other banquet service items.
- Assist servers and guests during events as needed.
- Transport food and beverage items to and from banquet areas.
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and report any shortages.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards.
