Requirements

Detail-oriented and thorough.
Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards.
Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way.
Sufficient education and literacy are needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English preferred.
Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms according to the provided specifications.
Reset the room to its original state after the event has concluded.
Assist servers during the event.
Transport tables and equipment.
Report maintenance issues to management.
Provide requested information to banquet patrons.
Assist in assembling podiums and other structures.
Relay information to outside departments.
Assist audio/visual personnel in setting up equipment.
Transporting food, beverages, decorations, and equipment.
Immediately report any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problems or accidents.
Takes found items to designated lost and found area.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
