Requirements

  • Previous experience in event setup, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to lift, move, and arrange heavy furniture and equipment
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely and work under pressure
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Majority of shift is on your feet

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and décor
  • Ensure all setup materials and equipment are organized and ready prior to events
  • Collaborate with event planners and catering staff to understand setup requirements and special requests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the setup area during and after events
  • Assist with breakdown and cleanup of banquet spaces following events
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times
  • Work efficiently during overnight hours to meet tight deadlines
