The Banquet Houseperson / Setup Team Member is the behind-the-scenes hero who transforms event spaces into stunning island-inspired venues. You’ll ensure every chair, table, and detail is perfectly placed so our guests can relax and enjoy paradise.

Requirements

Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50+ lbs.
Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, and holidays are part of the party!).
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow room diagrams.
Team-player mentality with a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

Previous banquet, hospitality, or event setup experience preferred — but we’ll train the right island spirit!

Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms according to event orders (tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors, décor).
Break down and reset rooms quickly and efficiently after events.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas.
Assist with moving equipment, staging, and audio/visual setups.
Ensure event spaces meet Margaritaville’s high standards of safety and presentation.
Work closely with banquet servers, supervisors, and event managers to execute flawless events.
Deliver friendly, team-focused service with a positive, can-do attitude.
