About The Position

The Banquet Houseman Supervisor position requires an individual to perform essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The role involves assigning duties to workers, inspecting work for cleanliness standards, investigating and resolving customer complaints regarding setup and service, and preparing work assignments based on room setup and refresh needs. The supervisor will also make recommendations for service improvement and operational efficiency, perform cleaning duties, identify and report needs for repairs or replacement of furniture and equipment, and issue supplies and equipment to workers. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness
• Investigates complaints regarding set up service and equipment, and takes corrective action
• Obtains list of rooms to be set up and list of rooms needing refresh to prepare work assignments
• Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation
