About The Position

The Banquet House Person will be responsible for the setting up, cleaning, servicing and maintenance of banquet equipment function rooms and related service areas. Ensure guest satisfaction, the achievement of property standards, safety standards and profit maximization.

Requirements

  • Language Skills
  • Previous hotel experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review the BEO and day work assignments with supervisor.
  • Correctly and efficiently set up and break down all department functions.
  • Clean and wipe down tables and chairs if necessary.
  • Keep function room area and storage areas clean and neat.
  • Return all equipment not in use to proper storage area in clean condition before the end of each shift.
  • Polish the outside of big silver trash cans in each meeting room when setting up for events.
  • Power-wash big silver banquet trash cans from each meeting room once a month.
  • Assist guests whenever possible, referring all requests which are beyond scope of responsibility immediately to supervisor.
  • Follow all SOPs, policies, procedures and regulations as followed.
  • Be familiar with the various types of workable setups for each function room.
  • Check the temperature and see if all lights are working and adjusted properly.
  • Assist banquet servers as needed.
  • Notify supervisor of any damaged equipment for repair.
