About The Position
The Banquet House Attendant is responsible for setting up, breaking down, and cleaning tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order. This role involves stocking linen, china, silver, and glassware, ensuring all items are in good condition. The attendant also maintains the cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans, and retrieves meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area for safe and secure storage.
Requirements
- Minimum one year food service or related work.
- 1-2 years in hospitality service or comparable experience.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions regarding room set up.
Responsibilities
- Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order.
- Stock linen, china, silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that in good condition.
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans.
- Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely.
