About The Position

This role is responsible for setting tables with chinaware, glass, silver, and linens, clearing tables as necessary, and setting up buffets. The Banquet Event Staff serves food and beverages to guests, provides quality customer service, and ensures a safe work environment by reporting unsafe conditions and equipment. They must follow up on guest requests immediately or seek assistance from supervisors. Evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

Requirements

• Prior experience or training preferred
• The ability to read, write and speak English
• Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s)
• Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment

Responsibilities

• Set tables with chinaware, glass, silver and linens
• Clears tables as necessary, sets up buffets as needed
• Serves food and beverage to guests and provides quality customer service
• Ensures safe work environment, reporting unsafe conditions and equipment
• Follow up on guests requests immediately or asks for assistance from one of the supervisors
