About The Position

As a Banquet Event Set-Up Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing the vision of our events to life, turning ordinary spaces into extraordinary settings. Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is in search of a detail-oriented and dedicated Banquet Event Set-up to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating memorable event experiences by setting up and arranging venues throughout our stunning resort. Requirements

• Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects and furniture (up to 50 pounds).
• Stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
• Work in various indoor and outdoor environments throughout the resort.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy setting.
• Possess the physical dexterity to assemble and arrange event setup items.
• Previous experience in event setup, banquet services, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset for event arrangement.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort and its facilities is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare event spaces for various functions, including meetings, weddings, banquets, and conferences.
• Set up and arrange tables, chairs, linens, decorations, and audio-visual equipment.
• Ensure the layout and design of each event space meet the specific requirements and preferences of our guests.
• Collaborate closely with event planners and the culinary team to ensure seamless event execution.
• Maintain inventory of event setup materials and report any shortages.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization in all event setup areas.
