About The Position

The Fort Piqua Plaza Banquet Center is seeking Banquet Set-Up Attendants to join our team! Located on the fourth floor of the beautifully restored Fort Piqua Plaza Hotel in the heart of downtown Piqua, Ohio, our state-of-the-art venue features six unique event spaces and hosts a wide range of special occasions—from elegant weddings to intimate celebrations and corporate events. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented Banquet Set-Up Attendants who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in preparing event spaces to meet high standards. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to efficiently set up and break down rooms to ensure each event runs smoothly.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Have reliable personal transportation to and from work

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of relevant experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing banquet space for all banquet functions in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the Club’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding Member and Guest service.
• Greet and interact with Members and guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Set tables, chairs, audio visual equipment, and other items according to specifications of the event.
• Set tables with silverware, glassware and decorations.
• Check and adjust lighting as needed
• Obtain linen and drape tables.
• Set up events’ food and beverage stations
• Cleans, stores and secures in an organized manner all tables, chairs, and audio-visual equipment, platforms/stages and other equipment for banquet functions.
• Vacuum carpet / rugs.
• Complete opening and closing procedures as well as side-work.
• Maintain neat and organized work area to include adhering to sanitation standards according to state law and health codes.
• Other duties as assigned by management
