About The Position

In this role, you’ll help create welcoming and well-executed events that support patients, staff, and the community. You’ll coordinate every stage of banquet and meeting services while ensuring exceptional customer service, smooth operations, and attention to detail throughout each event.

Requirements

Two to three years of experience in banquet coordination, hospitality, food service, or a related field preferred.
Associate degree in a related field preferred.
Food Handler Certification from an ANSI accredited program required within one month of hire.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and commercial kitchen operations preferred.
Strong customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to become proficient in required scheduling, dietary, and healthcare software systems within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee banquets, meetings, and special events to ensure successful execution.
Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal departments on event planning, menus, scheduling, and logistics.
Maintain conference center schedules, online calendars, and event-related communication.
Assist with room setup, food service, event breakdown, and transportation of banquet equipment as needed.
Support invoicing, payment collection, and internal event charging processes.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and customer service standards throughout all events.
Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned
