The Country Club of York (CCY) is seeking a dependable and motivated Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. This position plays an essential role in preparing and executing exceptional dining experiences for weddings, member events, golf outings, galas, and private functions. Requirements

Previous banquet, restaurant, catering, hotel, or food service experience preferred
Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety practices
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
ServSafe certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and plate banquet menu items according to Club standards
Assist with banquet prep, production, and event execution
Set up and participate in banquet plating lines while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation
Prepare hors d'oeuvres, buffets, action stations, and special event menus
Review banquet event orders (BEOs), recipes, and production sheets to ensure accurate execution
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures
Support overall kitchen operations as business needs require
Perform other duties as assigned
